In 2014, EDM recruited a new Customer Services Manager as part of a broader company strategy to bring experienced professionals into a number of key departments. The new department head has implemented several new measures including providing a range of tailored support packages, hiring new experienced technical support staff, delivering faster response times and focusing on the provision of solutions via remote diagnostics.
These proactive measures, in conjunction with the full support of EDM’s engineering team, have led to an increase in the average service satisfaction score awarded to EDM by its clients. Across a range of measurements including communication, punctuality, diagnosis, professionalism and overall satisfaction, EDM has been consistently scored ‘excellent’ by its clients in 2015, up from an average rating of ‘good’ in 2014.
