G-Cueing Seats
To enhance simulator feedback during flight training, EDM have developed a replica seat fitted within motion cueing which simulates the effects of G-force within a flight simulator by using electrically actuated motions to provide tactile cues to the pilot.
The G-Cueing Seat contains numerous dynamic modules to give and includes control software which receives, converts, and sends flight model data to the electrical actuators and linkages to provide the pilot real-time motion cues:
In addition, the seats are supplied complete with functional components that interact with the simulated environment e.g. seat height adjustment, ejection seat handle pull, harness retraction operation and oxygen regulator operation.
