EDM Offer a variety of defence helicopter training simulators to defence forces worldwide. Our simulators are designed to replicate real aircraft and their interfaces, allowing for safe and controlled training exercises in appropriate flight regimes.

EDMs CHINOOK Mock-up is an accurate representation of the aircraft and provides the means for operators to be trained in a safe and controlled environment. It has been designed with ground-base testing of aircraft systems and functions in mind, training procedures include:

  • Development and validation of low-level aerial skills
  • Mounting/dismounting & securing vehicles or equipment
  • Ramp operation
  • Cabin seats & seatbelts
  • Evacuation procedures

The EDM HUET has been designed, manufactured and certified to meet OPITO requirements. It is an integral tool in assisting the saving of lives providing a platform to develop skills for overcoming disorientation associated with under-water escape for members of emergency service helicopter crews, military personnel, search & rescue teams and oil platform workers.
