The EDM team has visited Addis Ababa to successfully complete a Critical Design Review for Ethiopian Airlines.
The visit follows EDM’s appointment by the airline in March 2014 to design and manufacture a comprehensive range of cabin crew training equipment including:-
- Narrowbody Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer (CEET) on an Electric Motion System
- Widebody Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer
- A350 Door Trainer
- Extended B767 Door Trainer
- Extended Q400 Door Trainer
The programme is expected to run for 18 months and following this, EDM will install the training devices at Ethiopian Airline’s training centre at Bola International Airport, Addis Ababa.
