Manchester, UK — A team of EDM colleagues has raised an incredible £560 for The Christie Charity after completing the Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride.
The team, made up of Dave Slater, Dean Hamilton, Chris Hopkinson, Paul Cadogan and Paul Hutchinson, took on the challenge to raise funds for the Manchester-based cancer charity.
Thanks to the generosity of colleagues, friends, family and supporters, the team comfortably surpassed its original fundraising target of £300.
The Christie Charity supports the work of The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, helping to fund cancer research, enhanced patient care, specialist equipment and additional services for patients and their families.
We are incredibly proud of Dave, Dean, Chris, Paul and Paul for completing the Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride and raising such a fantastic amount for The Christie Charity.
“Raising £560 and exceeding the original target of £300 is a brilliant achievement. We would also like to thank everyone who donated and supported the team along the way.
The fundraising effort reflects EDM’s continued commitment to supporting charitable causes and encouraging colleagues to make a positive contribution within the local community.
