Manchester, UK. EDM, the leading global provider of training simulators to the civil aviation and defense sectors, announced today that it has successfully completed a project with Vietjet for a A320/A321 Door Trainer.
Our team from the UK flew to Vietnam to help in the installation of our new A320 Extended Door Trainer for Vietjet’s new training facility located in Ho Chi Minh city.
Vietjet’s new facility will accommodate a variety of new trainers, which will be supplied by EDM Ltd over the coming months. The expansion of these new buildings will help Vietjet in continuing to proficiently train cabin crew in various disciplines.
The A320 Extended Door Trainer was requested from EDM in response to the overwhelming growth the airline has seen with regards to their current Airbus fleet.

Our Senior Project Manager, Michael Schunke, can be seen above with representatives from Vietjet presenting a gift to EDM in response to a successful Site Acceptance Test.

The department for international trade recently visited VietJet on a British trade mission to highlight the relationship both Vietnam and the United Kingdom have, and as a result, they used EDM Ltd as a key focus to bridge the UK and VietJet.
