EDM wins Insider North West Excellence in International Trade Award

Manchester, UK. EDM, a leading global provider of training simulators to the civil aviation and defence sectors, announced today that it has won the Insider North West Excellence in International Trade Award 2015.

Held at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester on 3rd December, the awards event brought together dozens of the North West’s leading companies who were competing in six categories. Facing tough competition from Timco, Powder Systems and VetPlus, EDM won the prestigious award in front of a 250 strong crowd of their business peers. The Insider Awards judges said in a statement: “EDM’s long term success in the aviation market stood out as a shining example of living and breathing international business. We were impressed by the depth and breadth of their clients and the high profile contracts the company has won.”

EDM had also been shortlisted in the Insider North West International Company of the Year (£10m – £50m turnover category) – one of only two businesses to be nominated for two awards. EDM also won the MEN Business of the Year Award (£10m to £25m turnover category) last month.
